How 150 Bank Leaders Now Stress-Test Every Assumption
When a large European based bank’s learning academy assessed its global talent pipeline, one gap stood out – managers handled credit and market risk well, but struggled to weigh sustainability, climate models and stakeholder expectations with the same confidence. BLYSS co-designed a two-series programme for 150 leaders.
Module design. We combined the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme with short, sector-specific case work. Participants practised ranking sources (peer-reviewed paper vs. opinion blog), quantifying bias drag, and documenting assumptions in a Decision Canvas.
Real-life context. Brussels policymakers and climate scientists joined two live sessions, linking upcoming EU taxonomy rules to retail-bank product lines.
Immediate application. Each cohort applied the Canvas to one active product or process, logging where new evidence might change course within 90 days.
Why it matters – the work blended up-front framework design, capacity-building, and recurring reflection points—exactly the structure we deploy when clients need learning loops that stick.
